Setting up your own Website is not very difficult!

Listed below are a few steps that may assist you in establishing a Website from scratch.

Experience in Website design (although helpful), is not a requirement. You can "learn as you go".

Step 1- Obtain a Domain Name and Server Space

(a) I logging onto the web and typing up "domain name registration" "host provider". We then got a whole list of providers, and registered our www address.

(b) Within 24 - 48 hours, the Host (Service Provider) should e-mail you confirmation of your new Domain Name and Web Space, as well as the the necessary File Transfer Poetical (FTP) information required to get your Web Site going, such as:

(i) Host Name, (ii) User Name, (iii) Directory, (iv) Port, and (v) Temporary Password.

Note: A one year contract should cost around $100 - $200, and you should get about 50GB - 100 GB.

Step 2 - Purchase a Web Design/Creation Package

You should purchase a Website Design/Creation Package, to install on your computer.

Note: There are many Web Design/Creation Packages available from the very inexpensive to the very expensive.

Step 3 - Install and Setup Software

Install your Website Package on your PC.

Use the FTP information provided by the Host Server to complete your installation and setup of your Web Site.

Step 4 - Publish your Website

Using a Web publishing program is much like using a word processing program.

Now it is just a case of designing and continually improving (up-dating) your Web Site.
